This manor house and estate with a centuries old history has been in the possession of the present family since 1811 - the corn distillery, which today stands under conservation order, has operated since 1858. A visit here is a step in the past and a good opportunity to inform yourself about the distilling of schnapps and the making of liquors.

Due to the geographical position, the local surroundings are ideally suited for cycle tours or walking trips. Sights worth seeing are the roman Johannes Kirche, church of St John in Hennen or the museum and artists´village in Barendorf, Iserlohn.

The corn distillery Bimberg offers on request, tours, schnapps tasting and a historical domed cellar for festivities.
