This manor house with centures old history has been in the family possession since 1811, today the corn distillery, which stands under a consevation order has been running since 1858. A visit there is a trip into the past and a good opportunity to inform oneself about the distilling of schnapps and the production of liqueurs.

The surroundings are well-suited for cycle tours or walks due to the geographical location. Worthwhile sites are the romanesque Johanneskirche in Hennen or the Museum and artists´village at Barendorf.

The Corn Distillery Bimberg on request offers distillery tours, schnapps tasting and an historical arched cellar for festivities.
