Nature Trail
The environmental nature trail of the Town of Iserlohn goes into particular detail, on a well-marked route, about animals and plants of the forest. The trail incorporates 70 stations within the groups of parkland, recreational forest, economical forestry and wooded border zone. But also topics such as the circle of water, food chain and information about the Forestry Commission work are included.
The route is approx 3 kms long and takes ca. 1 ¼ hrs through the Iserlohn town forest.
Start and finish are at the Südstraße/corner Frauenstuhlweg – there is a car park in the immediate vicinity.
For children´s groups and school classes the Department of Nature and Environment of the Town of Iserlohn offers special guided tours.
