The exhibition concept of the Town Museum invites you to touch history. Accommodated in one of the finest baroque buildings of Iserlohn, you can experience at first hand a variety of exciting and living descriptions of the historical development of Iserlohn. The Museum gained the award of the renowned competition „European Museum of the Year" in 1989.

Geology
The region of Iserlohn is a part of the Rheinish Slate Mountain range whose rock formtions were generated in the palaeozoic era. More....
