Internationaler Meisterkurs "WOLFGANG EMANUEL SCHMIDT" für CELLO und Cello-DUO

Teilnahmebedingungen: WOLFGANG EMANUEL SCHMIDT gibt einen internationalen Meisterkurs für CELLO und Cello-DUO während der Internationalen Herbsttage für Musik Iserlohn 2025. Die Unterrichtsstunden beginnen am Mittwoch, 24.09.2025 und enden am Freitag, 26.09.2025. Der Kurs endet mit dem traditionellen „Konzert der Meisterstudenten“ am Freitag, 26.09.2025 um 20 Uhr.
Für aktive Teilnehmer findet der Unterricht vormittags und nachmittags im Einzelunterricht vor der Gruppe statt, bzw. nach Maßgabe des Gastkünstlers. Kurssprache ist Deutsch und Englisch. Passive Teilnahme als Zuhörer ist während des ganzen Meisterkurses möglich (begrenzte Anzahl).
Der Kurs richtet sich an Studierende, Berufsmusiker oder fortgeschrittene junge Musiker, die eine musikalische Laufbahn anstreben. Die Anzahl der aktiven Teilnehmer ist begrenzt. Der Kurs schließt den Besuch des Auftaktkonzertes (23.09.2025) und des Festlichen Abschlusskonzertes (28.09.2025) ein. Eintreffen der Meisterkurs-Teilnehmer am 23.09.2025 zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr; Abreise ab Sonntag Mittag nach dem Abschlusskonzert.
Die Kursgebühr beträgt für aktive Teilnahme 140 €, bzw. 40 € für passive Teilnahme und muss nach Zulassung zum Meisterkurs im Voraus gezahlt werden. Sie schließt je 1 Konzertkarte für das Auftakt- und für das Abschlusskonzert ein. Nicht enthalten sind Kosten für Unterkunft und Verpflegung. Die Festivalorganisation kann auch kostenlose Unterbringung in Gastfamilien vermitteln.
Der Meisterkurs findet in der Musikschule der Stadt Iserlohn statt, zu Fuß 20 Minuten vom „Parktheater“ und 5 Minuten von der Fußgängerzone mit Geschäften, Restaurants etc. entfernt, wo Sie Ihren persönlichen Bedarf decken können.
Da mit vielen Bewerbern für den Meisterkurs zu rechnen ist, empfiehlt sich eine baldige Bewerbung (bis spätestens 7. Juli 2025). Nähere Informationen erhalten Sie bis 11. Conditions for participation in the masterclass:
WOLFGANG EMANUEL SCHMIDT will give an international masterclass for CELLO and cello-DUO during the International Autumn Festival for Music 2025 in the city of Iserlohn, Germany.
The lessons start Wednesday, 2025-09-24 and end in the final „Concert of the Master Students“ on Friday, 2025-09-26 (8 p.m.).
Active participants will have single lessons in front of the group (in the mornings and afternoons) or following the advice of the guest artist. The lessons will be held in German and English language. Passive participation (as listener) is possible for the whole time of the masterclass (limited number).
Participants may be students, professional musicians or advanced non-professional musicians aiming at a musical profession. The number of active participants will be limited. The masterclass includes the visit of the opening concert (2025-09-23) and the final concert (2025-09-28). Please check in at the masterclass from 3 to 5 p.m. on 2024-09-24 and leave Sunday after the final concert or later.
The masterclass fee is 120 € for active participation resp. 40 € for passive participation and must be paid in advance after admission to the course. It includes one ticket for the opening and one for the final concert. It does not include food and accomodation. The festival organisation may also organize free accomodation in guest families. The masterclass will take place in the music school of Iserlohn, which is about 20 minutes walking distance from the concert hall „Parktheater“ and 5 minutes from the pedestrian zone with shops, restaurants etc., where you can find your personal needs.
As we expect many applicants for the masterclass, it is recommended to apply soon (final date: july 07, 2025).
